Terms & Conditions

Oilfast Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully as it is important that you understand our contractual relationship. Oilfast UK is a fuel solutions service for the supply of domestic kerosene heating oil and gas oil, as well as lubricants, Adblue and ancillary products. Placement of an order with Oilfast UK will be accepted if the terms and conditions are acknowledged by the buyer and that any fuel supplied will be used for appropriate use deemed by the law.

1. INTERPRETATION

The seller is Oilfast UK and the buyer is the person, firm or company to whom the seller agrees to supply the products (the goods, under the terms thereof).

The buyer can agree a delivery of products if all conditions of Oilfast UK have been accepted. No variation of these conditions shall have effect unless agreed in writing between the buyer and seller.

2. PRICES

Oilfast UK continuously follows the market prices for fuel throughout the day, therefore a quoted price may change within a day due to fluctuations in the oil market. Until an order is placed the price is not guaranteed for more than two hours unless otherwise agreed, such as, weekly delivered prices.

3. PAYMENT

An order will only be accepted by Oilfast UK once payment has been made.

Payment terms are cleared funds only by either credit/debit card at the time of order and such payment is to be in GBP sterling, unless otherwise agreed by Oilfast UK .

Delivery cannot be made until payment has been authorised and Oilfast UK has received cleared funds, unless otherwise agreed.

4. QUANTITY

The seller’s measurements of quantity shall be accepted in all cases by the buyer. The fuel delivery will be made through a trading standard approved delivery meter and will be accepted by the buyer.

The seller cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any discrepancies in the buyers tanks, dip rods or other measuring devices once delivery has been made.

5. DELIVERY

Oilfast UK works as a broker between our clients and third-party suppliers. All liability with respect to delivery is the responsibility of the supplier delivering the product. For all deliveries made on our behalf we request full proof of delivery to ensure the product has been delivered successfully.

Oilfast UK reserve the right to charge aborted deliveries up to the sum of £50. This fee is determined by the fine we receive from our third-party supplier, plus administration costs incurred.

6. FORCE MAJEURE

If Oilfast UK decide it is unreasonable or uneconomical to deliver any part of an order, we reserve the rights to suspend or delay a delivery with unwritten notice to the buyer. We can also cancel an order in whole or in part if we do not accept its terms of use. We accept no liability for a failed delivery or delayed delivery on circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Oilfast UK or force majeure.

For the purpose of these conditions force majeure includes acts of god, governmental actions, acts of terrorism, war, fires, explosions, floods, protests, strikes or other labour disputes, accidents or unavailability from normal sources of supply.

In the event the buyer purchases alternative products from other suppliers at another price, the seller is not in any circumstances liable to compensate the buyer of any price difference.

7. Right for the Customer to Cancel an Order

The customer may cancel an order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day since the date the customer requested delivery of the ordered goods. You do not need to give Oilfast UK any reason for cancelling your order but Oilfast UK reserve the right to request a reason for their own records.

The customer will be charged a £10 administration fee for all orders cancelled.

No orders may be cancelled once delivery of the fuel has taken place.

To cancel an order the customer must notify Oilfast UK in writing.

Once the customer has notified Oilfast UK that they are cancelling an order, any sum debited to Oilfast UK from the customer’s credit/debit card will be re-credited to the customers Oilfast UK account within 30 days of the order. This is PROVIDED THAT the cancellation has been made in accordance with these terms and conditions.
