Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Modern Slavery

We are proud of the steps we have taken to combat slavery and human trafficking. These include, but are not limited to, performing due diligence on our supply chain, implementing policies to prevent modern slavery, training staff on the existence of modern slavery and what steps they can take to identify, prevent and report it.

Organisation’s Structure

Oilfast Ltd is a family run company operating in the UK under the trading names Oilfast & Oilfast UK.

Our Business

The business operates in two different sectors of the fuel market, local fuel distribution and the national fuel brokering service.

Our local fuel distribution division operates eight depots which supply Kerosene Heating Oil, Gas Oil, White Diesel and other related products to homes and businesses across Scotland, South East Wales and parts of England.

Our national Oilfast UK division offers fuel solutions to large businesses across the UK. By connecting large national clients to local fuel distributors, we offer a streamlined process to satisfy all their fuel requirements.

Our Supply Chains

Oilfast Ltd use only trusted and reputable suppliers across the industries we operate in. We perform due diligence on each supplier we work with which include, but are not limited to, Mabanaft Ltd, Valero, WFS-UK and Q8 Oils.

Each supplier used by Oilfast is required to have policies and procedures in place before being contracted. They must show every step is being taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking within the business. Regular updates and checks are made by Oilfast to ensure that the suppliers we work with continue to operate in a manner we see fit.

Our Policies

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our anti-slavery policy reflects our commitment to working ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We implement and enforce effective systems to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere within our supply chains. This falls in line with our core values at Oilfast Ltd which can be found in our CSR Section:

Training & Monitoring

We understand that tackling slavery & human trafficking is an ongoing process. As part of our policy we ensure that all relevant members of staff are trained and updated regularly to ensure we continue to operate in an ethical manner.

As mentioned, we also perform regular checks and request updates from all new and existing suppliers.
